This sculpture is made of discarded plastic water bottles that are, along with other pollutants, a common sight in today’s man-made landscape where they may never decompose.
According to a recent study, we throw away 35 billion plastic water bottles every year.
Our cultural dependence on mass produced disposable items is one of the most serious threats to our planet. Nature gives way to a less and less organic world that is transitioning to a mediated phenomenon: A “Garden” made of the waste of our everyday life.
